Orlando bookings rarely come one passenger at a time. A family of six landing at MCO with two car seats, a convention group heading to International Drive and a Port Canaveral cruise transfer at 7am can all land on the same board, often from callers who have never been to Florida before. Grasp Solutions provides outsourced dispatch and call answering for Orlando limousine, black car, sedan and shuttle operators, staffed by trained people around the clock and working inside the booking system you already run.
We will be plain about where we are. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Eastern time hours alongside your fleet. That is what makes real overnight cover possible: the person answering at 2am Orlando time, when the late international arrivals and early cruise bookings come in, is starting a shift, not finishing a double.
What makes dispatch in Orlando different
- Visitors who do not know the area – most callers are booking from out of state or overseas, so pickup instructions, hotel names and resort entrances have to be spelled out every time.
- Families and groups – car seats, extra luggage, strollers and vehicle size decide which car goes, not just who is free.
- Cruise days come in waves – Port Canaveral sailings send a block of transfers out together and bring them back on the same morning days later.
- Convention weeks fill every car – trade shows and conferences turn hotel and airport runs into tightly timed blocks.
- Storm season moves the whole board – a hurricane watch or an afternoon thunderstorm reshuffles flights, sailings and pickups at once.
What our dispatchers handle
- Live booking calls – answered in your company name and entered straight into your dispatch platform with pickup, drop, passenger count, car seats, luggage and flight number.
- Airport and flight watching – MCO and Sanford arrivals tracked, pickups moved when flights move, and the passenger told where to meet the driver before they land.
- Driver support – reassignments, no shows, vehicle problems and the call from a driver who cannot find a family in a busy terminal or a resort lobby.
- Hotel, resort and attraction accounts – standing bookings handled to each account’s rules, including who may book and how the guest is confirmed.
- Cruise and convention blocks – grouped transfers for sailings and events entered and confirmed as a set.
People, not AI
Every call is answered by a person. A parent at baggage claim with tired children and a late flight, or a travel agent booking a cruise group, wants someone who can think, not a menu. Our dispatchers learn your service area, your vehicle classes, your regular accounts and the terminal doors, resort entrances and cruise terminals your drivers actually use. For where AI answering helps and where it breaks on a dispatch line, see our guide to AI phone answering systems vs human dispatchers.
Coverage
Cover runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including school holidays, holiday weekends and the peak weeks when in-house cover is hardest to hold. Choose the full clock, overnight only, weekends only, cruise days only, or overflow behind your own dispatchers at peak hours. Special rates apply to overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.
No migration, no morning data entry
We work in your systems. Our dispatchers are used to Limo Anywhere, Moovs, TaxiCaller, iCabbi and other operator-owned platforms, plus hosted phone queues and shared inboxes. Bookings taken overnight are already in your platform when your day dispatcher logs in.
What you are not signing up for
- No long term contract. Month to month, and you stop when it stops being useful.
- No platform switch. We use the dispatch software and phone system you already have.
- No minimum seat count. Cover one shift, one cruise season or the whole year.
- Special rates for overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.
The Orlando rules your dispatch desk runs into
Inside the City of Orlando, limousines, luxury sedans and other vehicles for hire run under the City’s Chapter 55 vehicle for hire ordinance. The Vehicle for Hire Section issues a permit for each vehicle, and the permit decal goes on the lower passenger side corner of the windshield.
At Orlando International, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority publishes the list of companies permitted to pick up passengers who have pre-arranged transportation with them. If your company is not on that list, your drivers should not be sent for MCO pickups.
Port Canaveral runs its own system. Every commercial vehicle has to be registered and permitted by the Canaveral Port Authority and carry a permit decal and a transponder. Fares must be arranged and paid in advance, meet-and-greets happen only in the designated areas, solicitation is banned, and a vehicle may not sit in a loading zone for more than 15 minutes unless it is actively loading.
For a dispatch desk this is practical. Before a car is sent to MCO or the cruise port, whoever is dispatching needs to know that vehicle is covered and that the passenger has been told where to stand. We keep both on the board, so an overnight dispatcher is not guessing.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have an office in Orlando?
No. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Eastern time for Orlando fleets. The booking platform and phone queue are online, so nothing about the service depends on being in Florida.
Can you handle car seats, luggage and group sizes?
Yes. Child seats, luggage counts and passenger numbers are captured on every booking and matched to the right vehicle class before a driver is assigned.
Can you cover only cruise days or peak weeks?
Yes. Many Orlando operators start with the mornings their cruise transfers and the weeks their busiest conventions run, because those are the hours an unanswered phone costs the most.
How quickly can cover start?
Once we have access to your dispatch platform and a written escalation list, cover is usually live within days.

Elsewhere in Florida we run the same desks for Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville fleets, and our Florida dispatch page covers the rest of the state.
Dispatch cover in other US cities
If you run vehicles beyond Central Florida, we keep the same desks and the same people on dispatch in New York, Long Island, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Houston, Washington DC, Dallas, Boston and Atlanta. Fleets that only need the quiet hours covered usually start with after-hours answering or overflow call handling instead of a full desk.
