Boston runs through one airport, a handful of tunnels and some of the busiest hospital, university and financial districts in the country. A 5am Logan run from Back Bay, a hospital discharge in the Longwood Medical Area and a late arrival heading to the North Shore can all sit on the same board. Grasp Solutions provides outsourced dispatch and call answering for Boston limousine, black car, taxi and delivery operators, staffed by trained people around the clock and working inside the booking system you already run.

We will be plain about where we are. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Eastern time hours alongside your fleet. That is what makes real overnight cover possible: the person on your board at 3am Boston time is starting a shift, not finishing a double.

What makes dispatch in Boston different

  • One airport, strict rules – nearly every airport job goes through Logan, and Massport rules decide which vehicles may pick up and where they wait.
  • Tunnels and bridges set the clock – a closure or a backup on the way into East Boston changes every ETA on the board.
  • Hospitals and universities book year-round – medical appointments, visiting faculty and campus events keep weekday demand steady.
  • Event weeks fill every car – the Marathon, graduation season and big conventions compress a month of bookings into a few days.
  • Winter weather reshuffles everything – a snowstorm cancels flights and slows roads, and passengers need to hear it from you first.

What our dispatchers handle

  • Live booking calls – answered in your company name and entered straight into your dispatch platform with pickup, drop, passenger count and flight number.
  • Airport and flight watching – Logan arrivals tracked, pickups moved when flights move, and the passenger told before they ask.
  • Driver support – reassignments, no shows, vehicle problems and the call from a driver who cannot find a passenger at a terminal or a hospital entrance.
  • Corporate, hospital and university accounts – standing bookings and account rules handled the way each account expects.
  • Event blocks – grouped transfers for graduations, conferences and race weekends entered and confirmed as a set.

People, not AI

Every call is answered by a person. A traveler stuck at Logan after a weather delay, or a hospital coordinator booking a patient’s ride home, wants someone who can think, not a menu. Our dispatchers learn your service area, vehicle classes, regular accounts and the terminal, hospital and campus pickup points your drivers actually use. Coverage

Cover runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holiday weekends and storm nights when in-house cover is hardest to hold. Choose the full clock, overnight only, weekends only, event weeks only, or overflow behind your own dispatchers at peak hours. Special rates apply to overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.

No migration, no morning data entry

We work in your systems. Our dispatchers are used to Limo Anywhere, Moovs, TaxiCaller, iCabbi and other operator-owned platforms, plus hosted phone queues and shared inboxes. Bookings taken overnight are already in your platform when your day dispatcher logs in.

What you are not signing up for

  • No long term contract. Month to month, and you stop when it stops being useful.
  • No platform switch. We use the dispatch software and phone system you already have.
  • No minimum seat count. Cover one shift, one event week or the whole year.
  • Special rates for overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.

The Logan rules your dispatch desk runs into

Commercial ground transportation at Logan is governed by Massport’s regulation, 740 CMR 23.00. An operator may work at the airport only under a current Operating Agreement with Massport, and each vehicle needs a Massport Vehicle Permit displayed so it is clearly visible from outside. Limousines that are not on a schedule may accept passengers only on a prior, verifiable reservation.

After a drop-off or pickup, drivers must go to the waiting area or commercial vehicle stand designated for limousines, or leave the airport. Soliciting passengers is not allowed, and Massport also charges trip-based fees on commercial pickups.

For a dispatch desk this is practical. Before a car is sent to Logan, whoever is dispatching needs to know it carries a Massport permit and that the job is booked as a reservation, and the driver needs to know where to wait. We keep that on the board, so an overnight dispatcher is not guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Boston?

No. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Eastern time for Boston fleets. The booking platform and phone queue are online, so nothing about the service depends on being in Massachusetts.

Can you cover storm nights and holidays?

Yes. Weather, holidays and event weeks are when an unanswered phone costs the most, and they are a common way Boston operators start with us.

Will your dispatchers know Logan?

They learn your version of it: the terminals, waiting areas and passenger instructions your drivers use, written into your desk guide during onboarding.

How quickly can cover start?

Once we have access to your dispatch platform and a written escalation list, cover is usually live within days.

Dispatch cover in other US cities

If you run vehicles beyond Greater Boston, we keep the same desks and the same people on dispatch in New York, Long Island, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Florida (including Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville), Houston, Washington DC, Dallas and Atlanta. Fleets that only need the quiet hours covered usually start with after-hours answering or overflow call handling instead of a full desk.
