Most fleets and support desks do not need another full time dispatcher. They need cover for the ninety minutes a day when everything lands at once. The Friday school run and airport rush hitting the same queue. A snowstorm that triples inbound calls. Two dispatchers out sick in the same week. Grasp Solutions picks up the calls your own team cannot reach in time, answered in your company name by trained people, so your queue never becomes a voicemail box.

This is overflow, not replacement. Your team stays in charge of the desk. We take what spills over, exactly when it spills over, and hand it back the moment your queue is clear.

How overflow cover actually works

The calls that cost the most are the ones nobody counts

An abandoned call does not file a complaint. It books with somebody else. Most operators have no idea how many they lose, because a missed call leaves no record in the booking system, only a gap in the phone report that nobody opens. The pattern is almost always the same: a handful of predictable peaks each week where callers wait too long and quietly give up.

Overflow cover is the cheapest way to close that gap, because you are not paying for a seat that sits idle between peaks. You are covering the peaks themselves.

People, not AI

Every overflow call is taken by a person. A caller who has already waited through a busy queue is the last person who should meet a bot. Our agents learn your service area, your booking rules, your regular accounts and the questions your callers actually ask, so an overflow call sounds like a call to your office, because that is what it is.

Coverage

We cover all four continental United States time zones, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our operations center runs from Lahore, Pakistan, and our agents are trained on United States operations, United States addressing and the way American callers expect to be spoken to. We also cover operators in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Overflow can be scheduled to fixed peak windows, triggered only on queue depth, or left open all day as a safety net behind your own team. Special rates apply to overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.

No migration, no new software

Overflow routing is a setting in the phone system you already own, not a product you have to buy. Give us a number to receive calls on and access to your booking or ticketing platform, and the work appears where your team already looks for it. Nothing to install and nothing for your day shift to retype.

Frequently asked questions

Will callers be able to tell it is an overflow desk?

They should not. We answer with your greeting, in your company name, and our agents work from the same booking rules your own staff follow. The only difference the caller notices is that somebody picked up.

Can we turn overflow on and off ourselves?

Yes. The trigger lives in your phone system, so you control it. Plenty of operators run overflow only on their known peak days at first, then widen it once they can see what it recovers.

What happens to a call your agents cannot resolve?

It follows your escalation list. Some calls get patched through to a named person straight away, some get logged with a callback request, and some get held for the next shift. You decide which is which before we take the first call.

Do you handle web chat and email as well as calls?

Yes. Shared inboxes and chat queues overflow in exactly the same way as phone lines, and the same team can cover both.

Overflow cover is city-agnostic, but if you want a desk that already knows your market, see Las Vegas, Las Vegas reception, Chicago and Los Angeles. Dispatch overflow can run inside Moovs, FASTTRAK Cloud, SantaCruz or Tookan.

Overflow is one of three ways we staff a phone line. The others are after-hours cover and full virtual receptionist services across the United States.
