Houston is two airports, one ship channel and a metro area wider than some states. A black car booked from The Woodlands to Hobby, a crew change out of the Energy Corridor at 4am and a cruise transfer to Galveston can all land on the same board before sunrise. Grasp Solutions provides outsourced dispatch and call answering for Houston limousine, black car, taxi and delivery operators, staffed by trained people around the clock and working inside the booking system you already run.

We will be plain about where we are. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Central time hours alongside your fleet. That is what makes real overnight cover possible: the person on your board at 3am Houston time is starting a shift, not finishing a double.

What makes dispatch in Houston different

  • Two airports, two sets of habits – IAH and Hobby have different meeting points and different peak hours, and a passenger told the wrong one walks to the wrong door.
  • Distance is the default – a Katy pickup for a Clear Lake drop is a normal booking here, so driver assignment is a geography decision, not just whoever is free.
  • Corporate travel runs early – energy, medical and port accounts book pre-dawn airport runs and expect a confirmed driver before they go to bed.
  • Cruise days come in waves – Galveston and Bayport sailings send a block of transfers out at once and bring them back together days later.
  • Weather moves the whole board – a storm or a flooded underpass reshuffles every pickup in an area, and passengers need to hear it from you first.

What our dispatchers handle

  • Live booking calls – answered in your company name and entered straight into your dispatch platform with pickup, drop, passenger count and flight number.
  • Airport and flight watching – IAH and Hobby arrivals tracked, pickups moved when flights move, and the passenger told before they ask.
  • Driver support – reassignments, no shows, vehicle problems and the call from a driver who cannot find a passenger at a terminal or a hospital entrance.
  • Corporate and recurring accounts – standing bookings and account rules for energy, medical and hotel clients handled the way each account expects.
  • Cruise and event blocks – grouped transfers for sailings, conventions and game days entered and confirmed as a set.

People, not AI

Every call is answered by a person. A traveler stuck at baggage claim after a delayed flight, or an assistant booking an executive’s 5am run, wants someone who can think, not a menu. Our dispatchers learn your service area, your vehicle classes, your regular accounts and the terminal doors, hotel entrances and hospital drop points your drivers actually use. For where AI answering helps and where it breaks on a dispatch line, see our guide to AI phone answering systems vs human dispatchers.

Coverage

Cover runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holiday weekends and the nights when in-house cover is hardest to hold. Our dispatchers are trained on United States operations, addressing and the way American callers expect to be spoken to. Choose the full clock, overnight only, weekends only, cruise and event days only, or overflow behind your own dispatchers at peak hours. Special rates apply to overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.

No migration, no morning data entry

We work in your systems. Our dispatchers are used to Limo Anywhere, Moovs, TaxiCaller, iCabbi and other operator-owned platforms, plus hosted phone queues and shared inboxes. Bookings taken overnight are already in your platform when your day dispatcher logs in.

What you are not signing up for

  • No long term contract. Month to month, and you stop when it stops being useful.
  • No platform switch. We use the dispatch software and phone system you already have.
  • No minimum seat count. Cover one shift, one cruise season or the whole year.
  • Special rates for overnight, weekend and holiday only cover.

The Houston rules your dispatch desk runs into

Houston limousines run under the City’s Administration & Regulatory Affairs department. Each vehicle carries its own limousine permit, issued under a licensed limousine company, valid from January 1 to December 31 and shown as a windshield decal. New vehicles and annual renewals are inspected at ARA’s Lot W at 100 Bagby Street, and proof of insurance goes in with every addition or renewal.

At the airports the details are about where to meet. At Bush Intercontinental, Terminal A passengers meet their driver at the limo reception area in baggage claim, Terminal C passengers in baggage claim, and Terminal E passengers at the west side, Door 103. At Hobby, limousine drivers must be badged, meet passengers in baggage claim and may not solicit fares.

For a dispatch desk this is practical. Before a vehicle goes on an airport run or a new car joins the board, whoever is dispatching needs to know its permit is current and which terminal instruction to send the passenger. We keep both on the board, so an overnight dispatcher is not guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Houston?

No. Our operations center is in Lahore, Pakistan, and our dispatchers work Central time for Houston fleets. The booking platform and phone queue are online, so nothing about the service depends on being in Texas.

Can you cover only early mornings and overnight?

Yes. Many Houston operators start with the hours between 10pm and 7am, when pre-dawn airport and corporate runs are booked and confirmed.

Will your dispatchers know IAH and Hobby?

They learn your version of them: the terminal doors, waiting areas and passenger instructions your drivers use, written into your desk guide during onboarding.

How quickly can cover start?

Once we have access to your dispatch platform and a written escalation list, cover is usually live within days.

Dispatch cover in other US cities

If you run vehicles beyond Texas, we keep the same desks and the same people on dispatch in New York, Long Island, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Florida (including Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville) and Washington DC. We also run desks for Dallas, Boston and Atlanta fleets. Fleets that only need the quiet hours covered usually start with after-hours answering or overflow call handling instead of a full desk.
