Cameras record what happens. They do not call anyone. Most businesses find out about a break-in, an open gate or a stranger in the yard the next morning, when someone finally checks the footage. Grasp Solutions provides remote video monitoring: trained operators who watch your camera feeds live, spot problems as they happen and act on your instructions, around the clock.
How our remote video monitoring works
- We connect to your existing cameras. Most IP cameras and video recorders can be viewed remotely with secure, view-only access. No new hardware in most cases.
- We agree what to watch for. People on site after hours, vehicles in restricted areas, open gates and doors, loading activity or safety hazards.
- We write your response plan with you. Who we call, in what order, and when emergency services should be contacted.
- We monitor live, by schedule or by alert. Scheduled virtual patrols, motion and analytics alerts, or both.
- We act and log everything. Every event is recorded with the time, what was seen and what was done, and reported back to you.
People, not just software
Video analytics can flag movement. It cannot tell a delivery driver from a trespasser, or decide who to wake up at 3am. Our operators are trained people working from a supervised operations center, following your instructions to the letter and using judgment when something does not fit the script.

| Fleet and transportation depots | Vehicle yards, fuel areas and driver check-ins |
| Retail stores | Out-of-hours activity and incident review |
| Offices and property managers | Entrances, parking and common areas |

Frequently asked questions
Do I need new cameras?
Usually not. Most modern IP cameras and recorders can be connected for remote viewing, as long as the site has a reliable internet connection.
What happens when an operator sees an intruder?
The operator follows your response plan, which usually means contacting your keyholders and, where appropriate, calling the police, then logging the event.
Can you monitor only nights and weekends?
Yes. Many clients use us only when their sites are closed.
Can operators talk through speakers on site?
If your system supports two-way audio or speakers, we can include audio warnings in your response plan, subject to the rules that apply at your site.
